A Doodling Christmas with Bling...

Hi there all of my blogging and stamping friends. Long time no blogging for me. What have I been up to. Well, I've been up to my neck, no make that eyeballs, in scrapbooks. I was thrilled to be asked to put together a birth to 1 year album for a friend. I've done two vacation albums, two birthday themed albums, and I have a few more to go. I've been busy but it has been fun! I hosted and "All Day Crop" at my church Saturday and we had 24 ladies attend. Boy was I tired but WE all had a great time.
Now on to today's card. I chose to share a Christmas card I created a few weeks ago. I used my old faithful stamp set Doodle This. It has always been one of my fav's. I stamped the flower twice on designer paper, cut out and layered them to make a Poinsettia. The squares were made using the nestabilities dies. I added a little bling with the rhinestone fluorish. That' it. Easy Peasy. I've got alot of new things done, I just have to get my photos edited. Hopefully I'll not be so long between blog posts. Have a great week.
Blessings,

Fall Is In the Air...

You can begin to feel the season change in our neck of the woods. The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting cooler. Fall has to be one of the most beautiful times of the year. From the cooler temperatures to the color God paints the landscape with, who can resist saying "Thank You, Lord" for your bounty. For today's card I choose to share one I created using a layout in the new SU catalog. I am very low on birthday cards and have been trying to renew my stash. I need to have a Birthday "card making" Party! I had a few pieces of Pacific Point cardstock left from a class so I choose to use that for the base. The stamp set is Inspired by Nature. I just love the "grass" in this set. It has gotten a workout at my house. As you can see I also used SU's Nop Note die and the Butterfly die. You gotta love that Top Note die. Oh the things you can do with it! Wishing you all a great rest of the week and a restful weekend.

Blessings,

Look No Stamping...

I thought I would share a simple card with you today. Simple but pretty. I just used a few dies and my Cuttlebug to create this one. Very Easy!!! I just love SU's butterfly die. You can die cut three different butterflies and each one is so pretty. I have just a few pieces of Baja Breeze that I am hoarding so I pulled out a piece of that and also used some of the beautiful Parisian Breeze designer paper from the previous catalog. I'm using that sparingly as well. It was one of my favorites! I'd like to wish everyone a great long weekend. Hope everyone stays well and safe.

Blessings,

The Medallion...

Is everyone ready for the weekend? I know I am. I'm having a yard sale tomorrow so I'll have to get up early... no sleeping in for me. I just love today's card but it took a little manuevering with the stamp-a-ma-jig to get it just right. Actually it is a cased layout of one in the new catalog. It's on one of the first few pages. I just changed up the color scheme. I knew as soon as I saw the new Medallion background stamp in the new catalog that it would be coming to my house! I have lots of new things I will be working on and lots of ideas swirling around in my head so keep checking back each week to see what's new. Have a great weekend.

Blessings,

Notes For You...

Today I have a great project to share with you. If you haven't ventured over to the Paper Trey Ink website you really need to. One of their features is My Timeless Templates created by Lauren Meeder. I have ordered three of them and this one is called From the Desk Of. I just love it. I have made several. It can be used for a number of gift ideas. It will hold a set of note cards, baby items, candy or just about anything you want to put in them. I've also added a photo of the note cards I made to go inside. To decorate the front I used SU's Top Note Die and the retired Yummy stamp set. The leaves and the flower were made with an SU die too. You will need to pop on over to Paper Trey Ink and see for yourself what they have to offer. Thanks for checking in today. Have a great rest of the week!
